Ibrahima ‘Ibou’ Sylla is an artist, dancer, percussionist, singer and storyteller from Guinea, West Africa. He is a griot and born into this tradition.

Ibou is a patient teacher of all ages and especially wonderful with children. Based in Eugene, Oregon, Ibou teaches weekly percussion and dance classes and is actively seeking more opportunities to teach in the community, and share his rich cultural and artistic traditions.
